DHL is known as one of the largest global player in delivery and transportation of goods and parcels. It is active in around 200 countries and delivers the huge amount of 1,502,000,000 parcels a year. It is a brand with thousands of touch points which work well in general. As online shopping and deliveries are growing, more and more people use tracking apps for their orders and shipments. So there is a reasonable importance of a well working tracking app. Technically, the DHL app works very well, but the user experience and the design of the app are frustrating.

I challenged the current version to create a modern service design which represents the high claims of a global company like DHL and brings more joy of use. The outcome is a minimal design which makes the use of the app more exciting and also more comfortable.
The list view shows the user several shipments at a glance, while the card view brings a more detailed view of a shipment.
Users will be able to organise and track their shipments in real time, at least pretty close.
A clearer structure ensures better differentiation of products and extra services.
A simplified display makes it easy to navigate through the menu items
App users get notified when a shipment has been scanned by the system and can be easily added.
